Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Adthekey AB ("Adthekey", "we", "us", "our") collects and uses information when you visit adthekey.com (the "Site") and interact with us through the Site.

This Policy covers the corporate website only. If you sign up for or use the Roger product, the separate Roger Privacy Policy applies in addition to this one.

For purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Adthekey AB is the data controller of personal information collected through the Site.

2. What we collect

2.1 Information you give us. When you contact us, sign up for our newsletter, apply for a job, or interact with any form on the Site, we may collect:

• Name, role, business name
• Email and phone number
• Free-text content of your message
• For job applicants: CV, cover letter, work history, references
• SMS/text opt-in data: mobile number and consent records for text-message communications

2.2 Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site we automatically collect:

• IP address (or a truncated version), device, browser, operating system, language
• Pages visited, links clicked, time on page, referring URL
• Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5)

2.3 Information from third parties. We may receive information from B2B contact-data providers when we are evaluating partnerships, investments, or business introductions. We may also receive information from public registers, professional networks (LinkedIn), and references provided by candidates or partners.

3. How we use the information

We use the information to:

• Respond to inquiries, partnership requests, investor questions, and press contacts
• Send you our newsletter or company updates if you opt in
• Process job applications and recruitment
• Measure how the Site performs and improve it
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations under Swedish accounting, tax, employment, and corporate law
• Send the SMS/text messages you have opted into, such as service updates, scheduling, onboarding, and one-time verification codes

When GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps; our legitimate interests in B2B communication, recruitment, partnerships, and security; your consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies); and legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We share information only as described below.

• Service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as hosting, email, analytics, and recruitment tools.
• Investors, advisors, and partners under confidentiality, where relevant to a transaction or partnership you have engaged with us about.
• Professional advisors. Lawyers, accountants, and auditors under confidentiality.
• Legal compliance. Authorities when required by Swedish or other applicable law.
• Corporate transactions. A successor entity if Adthekey is acquired or merged.

We do not sell personal information.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other sharing described in this Policy and will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Cookies and tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Categories:

• Strictly necessary cookies keep the Site working.
• Functional cookies remember preferences such as language.
• Analytics cookies help us see how visitors use the Site (privacy-respecting analytics where possible).
• Marketing cookies set only with your consent.

You can manage cookies through the cookie banner where shown and through your browser settings.

6. International transfers

Adthekey is based in Sweden. Some of our service providers operate in the United States or the United Kingdom. When we transfer personal data outside the EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, UK International Data Transfer Addendum, EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable).

7. Retention

• Inquiries and contact data: kept for up to 24 months after our last interaction, unless a longer period is justified (e.g. ongoing partnership, investor relations).
• Newsletter contacts: kept until you unsubscribe and for up to 12 months on a suppression list.
• Job applications: kept for the duration of the recruitment process and for up to 24 months after, unless you ask us to delete sooner. Successful applicants' information is retained as part of their employment records under Swedish employment and accounting law.
• Accounting records and invoices: kept for at least 7 years under Swedish bokforingslagen.
• Analytics data: kept in aggregate or pseudonymized form for up to 26 months.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of them, write to privacy@adthekey.com.

You can opt out of SMS/text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Sweden the supervisory authority is the Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY): www.imy.se.

9. Security

We protect personal information using a combination of administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and logging.

10. SMS / Text messaging

SMS opt-in. If you provide your mobile number and opt in, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Roger (Adthekey AB), such as account notifications, customer-flow updates, demo scheduling, onboarding messages, and one-time verification codes.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your activity and interactions with us.

Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive one final confirmation message.

Help. Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at privacy@adthekey.com.

No sharing of SMS opt-in data. Mobile opt-in data, phone numbers, and SMS consent are never sold, rented, shared, or transferred to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Any data-partner, B2B-enrichment, or identity-resolution practices we use do not apply to phone numbers or mobile information you provide for our text-messaging program. We use this information only to send the messages you have agreed to receive and to operate and support that messaging. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Marketing messages. Promotional or marketing text messages are sent only to recipients who have given separate, specific consent for marketing messages. You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP.

11. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised.
